Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026 (SSC CHSL) Tier-I, CBE 30 November to 31 December 2026

The source labels its date column “Proposed Dates”. Keep that qualification when planning: the window is not a personal appointment for every candidate on every listed day. The notice advises candidates to check the Commission’s website regularly.

Which date should you use for preparation?

Find the row matching both your examination and its stage. A JE applicant should use the Paper-I row; a CHSL applicant should use the Tier-I row. The Sub-Inspector row is written as CBE in this particular notice.

Planning suggestion: work back from the first day of your exam window when arranging revision and timed practice. Keep your plans flexible until your individual date and venue are available. This is an editorial planning suggestion, not an additional SSC rule.

What about admit cards, exam cities and shifts?

The 1 October schedule does not give an admit-card release date, city-intimation release date, reporting time or individual shift. It also does not provide an application deadline or announce a new application window. Do not use this schedule alone to decide that an admit card or application form is available.

Before making travel arrangements, check the latest official communication for your exact exam and read your own admission certificate when available. Record the date, shift, venue address, reporting time and instructions shown there rather than copying another candidate’s details.

How to verify a newer SSC update

  1. Open the official SSC website and its Notice Board.
  2. Match the full exam name, year and stage before using a notice. Similar abbreviations can refer to different recruitment cycles.
  3. Read the notice itself and its issue date, not just a search-result headline.
  4. If SSC publishes a later change affecting your examination, use that update alongside your individual candidate instructions.
